ENCOUNTERS AND PETTING ZOOS FOR SENIORS

WE LOVE VISITING  SENIOR CENTERS, GROUP HOMES, ASSISTED LIVING, AND SENIOR COMMUNITIES.

While most of our Encounter programs are well suited to senior activities programming, our most popular is the Cute and Cuddly Encounter.

The cute and cuddly package includes 15-18 rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas for your residents to love and hold in cozy fleece cuddle bags. Depending on the number of residents participating, we will send one or two presenters to assist them in holding the animals and provide educational and fun facts.  All participants will be asked to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and after handling animals.

We can also take animals to memory care units or non-ambulatory residents for one on one interaction. Ask how we typically schedule these visits.

Encounter visits are for residents and staff only. 

ENCOUNTERS PROGRAM RATES:

$385 for first hour, weekdays (up to 25 residents- if more than 25 residents, ask about adding a second presenter)

$150 per additional half hour

50% non-refundable deposit required at booking.  Balance due on or before day of event.

Travel charge: .95/mile (Travel distance is calculated using Google Maps and is based on a round trip from south Issaquah, WA 98027).  

Programs can be broken into 15 minute or longer sessions to accommodate a variety of needs.

We can set up a wheelchair accessible zoo at your location where residents and their families can enjoy miniature goats, chickens, rabbits, a wallaby and more!
